Job summary

LTIMindtree is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, governance, modernization, and strategic evolution of enterprise middleware and application infrastructure platforms across various environments. This role involves defining architecture standards, designing scalable and secure infrastructure solutions, and providing technical leadership in areas like cloud platforms, observability, and infrastructure security. The architect will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure resilient, high-performing, and compliant platform services for critical business applications.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or enterprise infrastructure architecture
  • Proven architecture experience designing enterprise infrastructure solutions in complex on-premises, cloud, or hybrid environments
  • Deep hands-on expertise with enterprise middleware and application hosting platforms including JBoss EAP, Spring Boot, Node.js, Apache HTTP Server, and F5 LTM
  • Experience designing and supporting AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, ECS, EKS, AKS, or Fargate
  • Strong automation and DevOps knowledge including Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub, Infrastructure as Code, and scripting using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Experience designing infrastructure monitoring, observability, and logging solutions
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture, infrastructure hardening, certificate management, patch governance, and compliance controls
  • Strong knowledge of Linux platforms (RHEL, Amazon Linux) and VMware virtualization
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts including DNS, reverse proxy, SSL/TLS traffic routing, load balancing, and application delivery architecture
  • Experience supporting high-availability, business-critical systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead design governance modernization and strategic evolution of enterprise middleware and application infrastructure platforms across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments

  • Provide technical leadership across middleware hosting, web infrastructure, load balancing, automation, cloud platforms, observability, and infrastructure security
  • Design cloud and container platform architecture patterns for AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, ECS, EKS, AKS, and Fargate-based application hosting solutions
  • Design scalable, resilient, secure, and high-availability infrastructure solutions for enterprise application platforms including JBoss EAP, Spring Boot, Node.js, Apache HTTP Server, F5 LTM, VMware, AWS, Azure, and container orchestration platforms
  • Lead infrastructure architecture project delivery and platform initiatives including new application onboarding, cloud adoption, modernization, migrations, upgrades, and disaster recovery
  • Perform technology evaluation, technical due diligence, vendor assessment, and proof-of-concept activities
  • Recommend solutions aligned with architectural, operational, security, and business requirements
  • Provide architectural direction for high availability, scalability, performance optimization, capacity planning, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and operational resilience
  • Define infrastructure integration requirements covering DNS, SSL/TLS termination, certificate lifecycle management, reverse proxy architecture, traffic routing, network connectivity, and load balancing strategies
  • Define automation and Infrastructure as Code standards for infrastructure provisioning, middleware deployment, configuration management, and CI/CD integration using technologies such as Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub, Python, PowerShell, Bash, and YAML
  • Architect observability and operational monitoring frameworks including Dynatrace, centralized logging, performance monitoring, and platform health visibility
  • Define and govern enterprise infrastructure architecture standards, reference designs, engineering best practices, lifecycle management policies, security baselines, and compliance requirements
  • Own the infrastructure architecture review and gating process
  • Partner with cybersecurity teams to assess infrastructure risks, align solution designs with enterprise security controls, and support audit compliance and secure architecture initiatives
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to infrastructure engineers and operational support teams
  • Develop and maintain architecture documentation including high-level designs, low-level designs, technical standards, operational architecture, migration strategies, and implementation roadmaps
  • Participate in incident reviews, root cause analysis, change governance, and problem management activities to improve long-term platform reliability and service quality
