Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (cloud sandboxes)

Job summary

The Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is tasked with designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure cloud solutions while optimizing for cost efficiency and performance. Responsibilities include deploying workloads using containerization technologies like Kubernetes and MicroVMs, and automating infrastructure with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to enhance development processes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer/ SRE/ DevOps/ DevSecOps/Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
• 5+ years of expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, and CloudFront.
• 5+ years of experience with Linux.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI.
• 3+ years of experience in AWS containerized services like ECS, EKS, Fargate, and tools like Docker, Helm, ArgoCD.
• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Strong background in software development with proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, or Ruby.
• Experience with Azure, Snowflake, GCP, and other major cloud providers is beneficial.
