Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job summary

The Senior Platform Engineer secures, hardens, and scales foundational platform infrastructure, with responsibility for container image security, Kubernetes operations, authentication services, and infrastructure automation. The role includes remediating vulnerabilities, enforcing cluster governance with Kyverno, maintaining Keycloak-based authentication, automating operational work, and managing AWS infrastructure, with GCP as a secondary cloud.

Qualifications

• Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes operations, container hardening, and Kyverno
• Proficiency writing Python and Go tooling
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, and CI/CD tools
• Production experience with AWS, ECS, EKS, IAM, and Security Hub
• Experience implementing and maintaining Keycloak or IdentityServer
• Strong Linux troubleshooting skills
• Experience managing vulnerability remediation and low-vulnerability image pipelines
• Proactive problem-solving and clear cross-functional communication

Responsibilities

• Remediate high-severity platform vulnerabilities
• Build hardened, low-vulnerability container base images
• Maintain and scale the Kubernetes platform
• Enforce admission control, security standards, and cluster governance with Kyverno
• Design and maintain highly available platform authentication services
• Automate repetitive operations using AI
• Build platform tooling with Python, Go, Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation, and Ansible
• Manage AWS infrastructure operations, with GCP as a secondary cloud
• Participate in on-call incident response
