Job summary
CreateFuture is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to manage and enhance Kubernetes-based infrastructure on AWS. The role involves ensuring the operational health of containerized workloads, driving GitOps practices, and collaborating with development teams to support various services.

Qualifications
- Kubernetes at production scale, EKS preferred
- GitOps tooling, Flux (essential)
- Hands-on experience with AWS managed services: EKS, MSK, and RDS
- Authoring and maintaining modular infrastructure-as-code with Terraform
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
- Ability to support and troubleshoot Java/Kotlin and/or Python services
- Strong operational mindset with on-call responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Own operational health and evolution of containerized workloads on EKS
- Drive GitOps practices using Flux
- Manage and optimize core managed services: EKS, MSK, and RDS
- Maintain and extend infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
- Support and improve GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows
- Collaborate with development teams for hosting, debugging, and performance of services
- Identify and address platform-level technical debt
- Support on-call for the EKS platform
