Job summary

The Senior Connectivity Platform Engineer designs, automates, and operates secure and scalable enterprise network services across LAN, WAN, and hybrid cloud environments. Responsibilities include implementing network security capabilities, automating operations with tools like Terraform and Ansible, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance platform reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Significant practical experience in enterprise network engineering within complex or multi-site environments.
• In-depth knowledge of networking technologies including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, routing, switching, and network security.
• Experience with Cisco technologies such as IOS-XE, NX-OS, Meraki, or SD-WAN, or comparable enterprise networking platforms.
• Experience with network security technologies such as Palo Alto, Cloudflare, Cisco ISE, or equivalent solutions.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS networking and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Practical experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code using technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, Git, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Professional written and spoken English for working effectively across international teams.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, implement, and maintain enterprise connectivity services across LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, data center, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Develop technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, security requirements, and operational standards.
• Support the lifecycle of network platforms through upgrades, standardization, optimization, and continuous service improvement.
• Deliver secure connectivity across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and on-premises environments.
• Implement and operate network security capabilities such as segmentation, secure internet access, Zero Trust connectivity, and cloud networking.
• Support application delivery and network services including load balancing, DNS, DHCP, IP address management, and traffic management.
• Automate network provisioning and operations using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, REST APIs, and comparable technologies.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD workflows using GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents, contribute to root cause analysis, and help prevent recurring issues.
• Collaborate across Cloud, Security, Platform Engineering, and Enterprise Architecture teams while contributing to technical documentation, engineering standards, and knowledge sharing.
