Job summary

Designs and delivers scalable Google Cloud Platform solutions for client transformation, contributing across the software development lifecycle from system design and implementation to deployment and live-service support. The role includes building cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting production incidents, optimizing workloads, and supporting technical pre-sales. Technologies include GKE, Terraform, Git, Python, and Google Cloud Operations Suite.

• Professional experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or architecture, with knowledge of compute, storage, networking, and cloud management.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining cloud platforms or infrastructure, preferably on Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud Functions, or Cloud Run.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Experience contributing to CI/CD design and automation using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build, or similar tools.
• Understanding of cloud networking, security, identity management, and GCP best practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, the ELK stack, or Google Cloud Operations Suite.
• Experience with Git and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Associate Cloud Engineer certification, an equivalent GCP certification, or active progress toward one.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Google Cloud solutions, platforms, and pipelines.
• Contribute across the software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment and maintenance.
• Provide technical input to system design and translate client requirements into practical cloud solutions.
• Write maintainable code and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues, support live services, and help resolve production incidents.
• Identify opportunities to improve client capabilities using Google Cloud technologies.
• Share knowledge, support colleagues, and promote good engineering practices.
• Support technical pre-sales, including bid documentation, RFIs, RFPs, and client presentations.
• Contribute to the improvement of cloud capabilities, methodologies, and intellectual property.
