Senior Dara and DevOps Engineer

Job summary

Seeking a Senior Data and DevOps Engineer to build and maintain data platforms and contribute to health and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree plus 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure management and operations
• Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware)
• Expertise in Windows and/or Linux server administration and configuration
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Shell scripting)
• Experience with storage systems, backup solutions, and disaster recovery planning
• Understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and IT service management
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with monitoring tools and performance optimization
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to participate in rotational coverage as required
• Experience with configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Strong documentation and process improvement skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Experience working in regulated environments (GxP, SOX) preferred
