The Senior Data & ML Infrastructure Engineer will build and operate the data and machine-learning infrastructure for a platform that integrates AI with scientific data.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in production software with depth in data systems and ML infrastructure.
• Strong Python skills with a track record of reliable systems.
• Experience with large-scale data systems.
• Proficient in building data and ML data pipelines.
• Production MLOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration.
• Experience with telemetry, logs, and metrics in production systems.

Responsibilities

• Build data pipelines for large-scale scientific output.
• Ensure data is fast to query and reusable.
• Develop ML data pipelines for training and reinforcement learning.
• Implement validation and quality gates for data.
• Package, version, and deploy models across environments.
• Run models through CI/CD and serving workflows.
• Monitor models for drift, degradation, and anomalies.
• Create dashboards and alerts for data and model issues.
• Design APIs and internal tools for workflow reliability.
