Job summary

Senior Database Specialist / DevOps Engineer supporting the development, automation, and operation of modern database platforms in a cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, or Cloud Architect
• Good knowledge of Go and/or NodeJS
• Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, Git, ArgoCD, Tekton or similar IaC and automation tools
• Solid knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Good knowledge of database systems like PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB
• Experience in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
• Very good German and good English skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and automate database services
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps solutions
• Support application teams in integrating and using database platforms
• Implement technical requirements, service transitions, and new features
• Operate and maintain database services in collaboration with technical teams
• Contribute to the development of modern cloud and platform architectures
