Senior Dev Ops Engineer - Digital Assets Services

Job summary

Shape Rabobank's digital asset foundation as a Senior DevOps Engineer, building core capabilities for custody, trading, payments, and tokenization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, platform engineering or a comparable technical role.
• Strong backend development experience, preferably with Java and Spring Boot, and experience designing and building APIs, integrations and distributed systems.
• Experience integrating and consuming SaaS platforms and external APIs within complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, with exposure to Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform.
• Experience managing Linux-based environments in both cloud and on-premise infrastructures, with system reliability, observability, operational support and incident management.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive ownership mentality, with experience leading technical delivery and guiding other engineers.
• Curiosity for emerging technology domains such as blockchain technology, digital asset infrastructure, tokenization, stablecoins, cryptographic key management and transaction-signing infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical implementation of digital asset custody, trading, payment and transaction flows using platforms such as Fireblocks and Trever.
• Design, develop and maintain backend services, APIs and integrations for Rabobank's digital asset ecosystem.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, automated deployments and operational tooling for reliable platform operations.
