Senior DevOps Developer

Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Senior DevOps Developer to implement and manage infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for software applications. The role involves collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams to enhance system reliability and optimize performance in cloud and on-premises environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud platform operations
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing multi-cloud CI/CD pipelines
• 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools
• 3+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• 1+ years of experience implementing observability, monitoring, and tracing frameworks
• 1+ years of experience applying FinOps and cost optimization strategies
• 3+ years of experience in implementing security controls in CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Lead, design, implement, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure using cloud platforms
• Design and develop reusable IaC modules for deploying Kubernetes, Databricks, Snowflake and other related cloud services
• Build and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Automate repetitive tasks, including provisioning, configuration, and monitoring
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
• Integrate DevOps pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins
• Work closely with developers to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle
• Ensure infrastructure and pipelines adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues
• Automate, monitor and optimize cloud resource usage
• Integrate DevSecOps practices including secret management, vulnerability scanning and compliance check
• Maintain clear documentation of infrastructure, processes, and configurations
• Guide and mentor development team members
