Job summary
The Senior DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer designs secure, scalable automation and strengthens engineering practices in complex financial services environments. The role builds Python-based automation and reusable GitHub Actions workflows, integrates vulnerability scanning and compliance controls into the software development lifecycle, and manages GitHub environments. It also troubleshoots CI/CD pipelines and collaborates with engineering, development, and security teams to improve delivery reliability.

Qualifications
- At least 6 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or related engineering roles.
- Advanced Python development skills, including scripting, automation frameworks, REST API integration, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Extensive GitHub experience, including repository management, Git workflows, branching, pull requests, and access management.
- Advanced GitHub Actions experience designing complex CI/CD pipelines, reusable workflows, and custom actions.
- Practical DevSecOps experience with security automation, vulnerability scanning, Linux, shell scripting, and software development lifecycle practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, including reusable workflows and custom actions.
- Build Python scripts, automation frameworks, REST API integrations, and engineering tools.
- Integrate vulnerability scanning, security testing, compliance controls, and secure deployment practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Administer GitHub repositories, branching strategies, pull requests, access controls, secrets, and security settings.
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures and integration challenges with development and security teams.
