Job summary

The Senior DevOps Engineer role focuses on managing cloud infrastructure for mission-critical applications within national public service systems. Qualifications

• Significant experience running cloud infrastructure in production on AWS
• Knowledge of Terraform beyond the basics
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD in a production context
• Ability to write Python or Bash to automate
• Experience with CI/CD at a level where you have created pipelines

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of cloud infrastructure from provisioning through to day-to-day operations
• Use Infrastructure as Code as the default for everything
• Keep CI/CD pipelines fast and reliable
• Monitor environments to track performance, uptime, and resource usage
• Work closely with wider teams to understand needs and provide DevOps solutions
