Job summary
Develop and operate an event-streaming platform that provides the backbone for asynchronous communication across a bank, helping applications communicate reliably. Responsibilities span enhancing the Confluent Kafka platform, building and maintaining Spring Boot integrations, onboarding and advising DevOps teams, and contributing throughout the lifecycle from specification and implementation to testing and operations using a “you build it, you run it” approach.

Qualifications
- Several years of experience developing modern web applications
- Good knowledge of Spring Boot and operating solutions on Kubernetes
- Event-streaming knowledge, ideally with Apache Kafka or Confluent Kafka
- Cloud technology experience, preferably Azure
- Very good German and good English, spoken and written
Responsibilities
- Develop the event-streaming platform based on Confluent Kafka
- Build and maintain integration solutions with Spring Boot
- Onboard and advise DevOps teams on event streaming
- Ensure stable operation of the central Kafka platform
- Contribute across the lifecycle, from ideas and specifications to implementation, testing, and operations
