Job summary
The Senior DevOps Engineer at Assent is responsible for the infrastructure behind the Data & AI Platform, focusing on designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure as code.
Qualifications
- Deep expertise in modern data platform technologies
- Solid knowledge of DevOps methodology and tooling
- Experience in observability and incident response practices
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A learning mindset for exploring new technologies
- Experience in security and compliance related to data systems is a plus
Responsibilities
- Own technical quality of infrastructure and automation for Data & AI Platform
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure as code
- Partner with Data Engineering to understand requirements and remove operational friction
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Design observability and incident-response practices for data workloads
- Design governance and security policies for data platform infrastructure
- Guide Data Engineering team on best practices
- Stay current with emerging DevOps and data infrastructure technologies
- Contribute to broader DevOps initiatives and operational practices
