Job summary
The Senior DevOps Engineer provides technical leadership for a Platform Engineering team responsible for operating, scaling, and securing SaaS cloud infrastructure and improving software delivery. The role involves system design, infrastructure automation with AI and rigorous production validation, cost and reliability management, cross-team technical guidance, and mentoring, using technologies such as Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and major cloud providers.

Qualifications
- DevOps or operations experience in a SaaS environment.
- Extensive Linux experience and automation scripting with Bash or Python.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code principles and tools such as Terraform.
- Ability to use AI tools for infrastructure delivery and safely validate, govern, and measure AI-assisted automation.
- Ability to understand customer needs and use empirical data to guide decisions.
- Organized, team-oriented approach and strong English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Operate, scale, and troubleshoot SaaS cloud infrastructure for reliability, efficiency, and security.
- Design systems spanning multiple components and anticipate performance and scalability issues.
- Validate AI-assisted infrastructure automation manually and in staging before production deployment.
- Manage the costs and return on investment of AI-driven systems.
- Lead design discussions and advise multiple teams on technical decisions.
- Establish infrastructure best practices, promote documentation, and mentor engineers.
