Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps or related technical role
• 5 years’ Software Development experience
• 2 years’ Linux and Network Administration experience
• 2 years’ experience with containerization and orchestration tools
• Proven track record in leading technical initiatives
• Experience with development and version control tools
• Experience in an Agile team
• Experience with continuous integration tools
• Experience with on-premises deployment challenges
• Eligible for Canadian Controlled Goods Program
• Legally able to work in Canada
• No risk for safeguarding controlled goods
• Eligible for Secret Level II security clearance
• Eligible to handle US export-controlled data

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure design and platform engineering
• Define cost monitoring and optimization strategy
• Design monitoring and observability infrastructure
• Maintain compliance
• Mentor junior engineers
• Implement security-by-design and cloud migration
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and executives
• Lead technical systems and application activities
• Install, configure, and maintain multiplatform systems
• Plan and coordinate software and hardware for enterprise release
• Evaluate system production readiness
• Restore complex computing service operations
• Identify and resolve complex system problems
• Integrate security solutions into information systems
• Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis
• Maintain documentation of configurations and operations
• Ensure infrastructure components are securely configured
