Senior DevOps Engineer

Job summary

Boe*** is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support the development and deployment of a critical government information system. The role requires hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, AWS cloud services, and Windows Server administration, focusing on automating build, test, and deployment processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience setting up build infrastructure with GitLab for development
• Experience with Nexus repository or similar package repository for Java applications
• Strong expertise in Windows Server administration
• Strong expertise in setting up and/or managing services in AWS
• Infrastructure-as-code practices
• Experience in installation, setup, and configuration of full-stack applications

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Automate deployment processes across development, staging, and production environments
• Manage Nexus Repository for artifact storage and dependency management
• Develop and maintain procedures and infrastructure automation solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD pipeline issues
• Build and maintain container images as needed
• Administer and upgrade Windows Server environments
• Plan and execute VMware to AWS migration strategies
• Collaborate with DBAs on RDS setup and configuration on AWS
• Monitor system performance and implement optimizations
