• Several years of experience running cloud infrastructure in production on AWS.
• Experience with Azure is a bonus.
• Advanced knowledge of Terraform, including managing complex estates, writing reusable modules, and working across multiple environments.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD in a production context.
• Ability to automate tasks using Python or Bash.
• Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines, not just using them.
• Understanding of security considerations in CI/CD.
• Experience with deployment from a risk perspective.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of cloud infrastructure from provisioning to day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architect on significant infrastructure changes.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code as the default for all infrastructure.
• Maintain and improve infrastructure setup as it evolves.
• Ensure CI/CD pipelines are fast and reliable.
• Investigate and resolve CI/CD pipeline issues.
• Monitor environments for performance, uptime, and resource usage.
• Respond to and troubleshoot environmental issues.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
• Propose and implement new ideas and approaches.
• Work with wider teams to understand needs and provide DevOps solutions.
