Job summary

The (Senior) DevOps Engineer role focuses on enhancing the stability and scalability of a cross-platform AI system. Key responsibilities include automating product setup processes, optimizing daily software deployments, improving security measures, and managing incident responses, utilizing technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud-native tools.

Qualifications

• Professional experience with Linux-based systems (Windows Server is a plus)
• Experience deploying and managing workloads across multiple cloud providers
• Practical experience with Kubernetes management and cloud-native technologies
• Strong understanding of development and operations cycles, including CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform)
• Experience managing data streams with tools like Grafana, Kibana, or Prometheus
• Effective communication skills in German and English with various stakeholders
• Reliable completion of tasks and end-to-end ownership
• Basic programming knowledge in Java or Python (experience with Rust or Go is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Automate product setup processes to reduce manual workload
• Collaborate with development team to optimize software deployments and resolve technical issues
• Design, implement, and document security improvements for clients and audits
• Scale deployments for multiple clients, including large databases and container orchestration
• Monitor incident response, conduct root-cause analysis, and ensure minimal downtime
• Establish and maintain robust monitoring and alerting solutions
