Job summary

The Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer role focuses on managing the DevOps platform to enhance automation, reliability, and operational excellence within a Linux-based infrastructure for banking systems. Key responsibilities include utilizing Ansible for configuration management, implementing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub, and optimizing monitoring solutions using Prometheus and Grafana to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
• Strong hands-on Ansible experience
• Proven Linux administration expertise (RHEL)
• CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub
• Experience with DevSecOps tooling
• Production monitoring and observability experience
• Root cause analysis and incident management experience
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting
• Experience with containerisation and virtualisation
• Understanding of REST APIs and service integrations
• Understanding of database and RDBMS concepts
• Knowledge of DevOps and Reliability Engineering concepts
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to coach and support team members
• Advanced English proficiency

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the DevOps platform
• Automate configuration via Ansible

• Perform operational tasks using Python and Shell scripting
• Ensure visibility across deployments and operations
• Manage Linux (RHEL) platform operations
