Senior DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes, Automatisierung & KI-Plattform

Job summary

AKROS is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and develop infrastructure as code, manage OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms, and automate CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in ICT projects
• Solid experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes in production
• Strong knowledge in CI/CD, automation, and deployment processes
• Solid experience with Terraform and Ansible
• Proficient in monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
• Practical experience with AI-supported tools in DevOps
• Basic knowledge of message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Experience with agile methods and tools like Jira and Confluence
• Fluent in German (C1) and good English

Responsibilities

• Design and develop infrastructure as code
• Manage OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms for high-availability workloads
• Automate CI/CD pipelines for build, test, security checks, deployment, and rollback
• Develop automation and tooling solutions in Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Operate and develop the central LLM gateway based on LiteLLM
• Make costs, usage, quality, and security of AI workloads transparent and measurable
• Develop, containerize, integrate, and operate AI agents and services
• Design monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions and conduct root cause analyses
• Implement exciting and challenging large customer projects
• Collaborate closely with software development, IT operations, security, and architecture
