Senior DevOps Engineer

Job summary

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will focus on building and refining tools to empower the engineering team in deploying, monitoring, and scaling applications while implementing open-source solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a related technical role.
• Strong programming and scripting proficiency in Golang.
• Experience in architectural design for distributed systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and container orchestration.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and observability tools.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or other major cloud providers.
• Knowledge of networking, web protocols, and Bash scripting.
• Experience with database technologies such as MySQL and Postgres.
• Ability to support a global, 24/7 production environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable global digital infrastructure.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
• Orchestrate and manage containerized applications with Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD.
• Deploy and configure observability stacks for application performance insights.
• Manage Cloudflare services for load balancing and proxying.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Uphold security best practices across infrastructure and deployment.
• Provide on-call support for global production environments.
