Job summary
The Senior DevOps Engineer provides technical leadership for DevOps practices and manages the lifecycle of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code for an industrial AI cloud platform serving European manufacturers. The role develops and integrates automated services across platforms and infrastructure, investigates pipeline errors, designs AI Cloud service architecture, and mentors colleagues. The environment includes GPU infrastructure, Kubernetes, Linux, Python and Bash, Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD, Grafana, and Prometheus.

Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience designing and delivering systems based on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Experience with GPU infrastructure
- Knowledge of Kubernetes container technologies
- Experience with Python or Bash
- Experience with Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform, or Helm for automation and deployment
- Experience with CI/CD in Kubernetes environments and repository management
- Experience automating with Git, GitHub, or GitLab and using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD
- Strong Linux experience
- Experience with Grafana and Prometheus
- English proficiency at B2 level
- German language skills are an advantage
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support ICT components and applications for the AI Cloud platform
- Develop automation, optimization, and standardization concepts, processes, and methods
- Advise employees and customers on technical product matters
- Deliver project work within the defined scope
- Maintain and enhance product pipelines, integrate platforms and infrastructure, and investigate pipeline runtime errors
- Develop and implement service architectures for AI Cloud platform requirements
- Mentor and train colleagues
- Lead technical work and coordinate activities across related technologies and teams
- Set up and manage integrations with partner applications
