Job summary
The Senior DevOps Engineer helps build and operate an industrial AI cloud for European manufacturers, applying DevOps practices across cloud infrastructure, automation, and the full lifecycle of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code. The role designs and integrates AI Cloud services, improves and troubleshoots pipelines, coordinates technical work across teams, and mentors colleagues in an environment using GPU infrastructure, Kubernetes, Linux, and automation and monitoring tools.

Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience designing and delivering systems based on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Experience with GPU-based infrastructure
- Knowledge of Kubernetes container technologies
- Experience with Python or Bash scripting
- Experience with Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform, or Helm automation and deployments
- Experience with CI/CD in Kubernetes environments and repository management
- Experience using Git, GitHub or GitLab, and GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD
- Strong Linux experience
- Experience with Grafana and Prometheus monitoring and visualization tools
- English proficiency at B2 level
- German proficiency is an advantage
- Communication, analytical thinking, teamwork, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Basic project management and leadership knowledge
- Intermediate quality management knowledge
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support ICT components and applications for the AI Cloud platform
- Develop automation, optimization, and standardization processes and methods
- Advise employees and customers on technical product matters
- Deliver project work within defined scope
- Maintain, enhance, integrate, and troubleshoot product pipelines across platforms and infrastructure
- Develop and implement service architecture to meet AI Cloud platform requirements
- Mentor and train colleagues
- Lead and coordinate technical activities across teams and related technologies
- Set up and manage integrations with partner applications
