Senior DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)

Job summary

Design, develop, and automate modern cloud infrastructures, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and implement security and compliance requirements. Mentor less experienced colleagues and support clients in their DevOps journey.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• At least 6 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern automation processes.
• Solid knowledge in operating and administering Kubernetes.
• Experience with at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong knowledge in at least one scripting or programming language like Python or Go.
• Experience with OpenShift or Rancher is a plus.
• Fluent in German (C1) and English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and automate modern cloud infrastructures using Terraform and configuration management tools.
• Develop, optimize, and operate modern CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters.
• Establish monitoring and observability solutions with tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Implement security and compliance requirements.
• Advise clients on multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud strategies.
• Support technical architecture decisions and mentor less experienced colleagues.
