Job summary
The Senior DevOps Engineer operates and continuously develops an AWS cloud platform, ensuring that platforms and applications remain reliable, secure, and performant. The role provisions and automates infrastructure, administers systems, optimizes containerized applications on Kubernetes (EKS), and supports deployment, monitoring, and performance improvements. The work supports payroll, human resources, and workforce management services.

Qualifications
- Several years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps.
- Familiarity with AWS services including EKS, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
- Experience managing AWS resources with Infrastructure as Code.
- Familiarity with Continuous Delivery practices.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with REST and RESTful services.
- Experience using Git.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- Preferably, experience with Django, Python, and GitOps such as ArgoCD.
- Practical experience with container technologies and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Operate and continuously develop the AWS cloud platform.
- Provision infrastructure and automate platform processes.
- Administer and develop the system landscape.
- Operate and optimize containerized applications on Kubernetes (EKS).
- Ensure data exchange between AWS and other systems, including logging and monitoring systems.
- Support the team with deployment, infrastructure, and performance optimization.
