Senior DevOps Engineer

Job summary

This role is for an experienced DevOps engineer specializing in the Microsoft technology stack (Power Platform and Fabric, M365, GitHub, Azure). The engineer will support fee-earning projects and programs in a back-of-house capacity, interfacing with a multi-disciplinary Digital Development team.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a DevOps or platform engineering role, ideally supporting M365, Power Platform, or Azure-based solutions.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, specifically Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Experience managing and supporting Power Platform assets (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Familiarity with M365 services, including SharePoint Online, Teams, and Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Understanding of environment management, deployment pipelines, and release processes.
• Experience supporting production systems, including incident management and root cause analysis.
• Awareness of security principles, governance, and controls required for enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the definition and adoption of DevOps standards, controls, and best practices across delivery teams.
• Support the management and optimization of the organization’s DevOps estate, focusing on Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and associated cloud services.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub for reliable and consistent deployment of solutions.
• Implement and manage automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to support scalable and repeatable platform operations.
• Support environment management, release processes, and deployment governance across development, test, and production environments.
• Manage and monitor platform health, including logging, alerting, and incident response processes.
• Support identity and access management, including integration with Azure AD and role-based access controls.
• Collaborate with engineering, support, and delivery teams for smooth transition from development to live service.
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex DevOps and platform-related issues.
• Support compliance with organizational security policies and audit requirements.
