Job summary
The Senior DevOps Engineer owns and evolves AWS infrastructure for consumer security products, balancing reliability, security, performance, and cost. The role uses Terraform and GitHub Actions to automate infrastructure and CI/CD, embeds security scanning and policy controls, and leads SRE practices, on-call incident response, and build and release automation. Key AWS services include EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and Config.

Qualifications
- At least 6 years of hands-on DevOps or SRE experience with AWS
- Experience with AWS EC2, ECS, ECR, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, EKS, and CloudFront
- Advanced Terraform skills, including modular, reusable, well-tested infrastructure code
- Experience building GitHub Actions pipelines as code with integrated security scanning
- Hands-on experience with GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config, SCPs, and cloud security practices
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash
- Linux administration and Docker container management experience
- Experience defining SLOs, designing observability, and improving reliability through post-mortems
- Daily use of AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot
- Strong communication and documentation skills, including architecture proposals, design reviews, and runbooks
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS compilation, code signing, and software supply chain security
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve AWS infrastructure using Terraform and security best practices
- Build and improve GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines with security scanning, policy enforcement, and quality gates
- Identify and remediate cloud misconfigurations; support vulnerability management and incident response
- Define SLOs and improve alerting, observability, and reliability practices
- Participate in on-call rotation and manage production incidents through resolution and follow-up
- Maintain build and release environments and develop automation and test tooling for client applications
- Evaluate DevOps technologies through structured proof-of-concept testing
- Maintain actionable documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams
