Job summary

The Senior DevOps Engineer role focuses on designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure primarily on GCP, while optimizing and modernizing existing systems. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a similar role
• 3+ years of experience in compiled language software development (ideally C++/C#)
• Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Deep understanding and practical experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages
• Experience with containerization technologies and container orchestration platforms
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud architecture patterns
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure primarily on GCP
• Identify areas for optimization, consolidation, and modernization
• Work with architect to develop a strategic roadmap for future-state infrastructure
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Implement robust CI/CD pipelines
• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration platforms
• Drive automation across all aspects of the infrastructure lifecycle
• Design and implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• Establish proactive alerting mechanisms and define key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Champion a DevOps culture within the organization
• Implement security best practices throughout the infrastructure lifecycle
