Job summary
The DevOps Engineer builds and operates multi-cloud infrastructure and developer environments supporting analytics for business intelligence and AI. The role provisions test and development environments; manages networking across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OVH; operates Kubernetes and Proxmox infrastructure; and maintains Terraform, CI/CD, PostgreSQL-backed internal services, and Grafana observability. It also supports SSO, security, compliance, and operational automation.

Qualifications
- At least five years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on multi-cloud networking and site-to-site VPN experience using IPsec or WireGuard.
- Strong Linux administration skills, including self-managed hosts and hypervisors such as Proxmox or KVM.
- Kubernetes experience with EKS, AKS, GKE, or self-managed clusters; proficiency with Docker, Helm, ArgoCD, and Terraform.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions.
- Ability to build small internal services with Python or Go and strong Bash scripting skills.
- Working knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus-style monitoring, PostgreSQL, SSO integrations, and system security practices.
- Ability to work East Coast (ET) hours.
Responsibilities
- Provision and manage test and development environments, including on-demand environments.
- Design and maintain site-to-site connectivity across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OVH, including VPN tunnels, routing, and DNS.
- Build and deploy multi-cloud infrastructure, including Proxmox-based virtualization.
- Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters with ArgoCD-based GitOps deployments.
- Build and maintain internal tools, services, and supporting PostgreSQL databases.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines to reduce build and deployment times.
- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Operate Grafana-based observability and troubleshoot performance and availability issues.
- Support internal authentication and SSO integrations using SAML, OIDC, and OAuth2.
- Apply infrastructure security practices, support compliance efforts, and automate operational tasks.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams.
