Job summary
The role develops and operates DevOps and platform solutions for applications in regulated banking environments, covering CI/CD, cloud migration, infrastructure automation, and production reliability. Responsibilities include Jenkins pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, container orchestration, monitoring, logging, incident analysis, and security checks, with occasional development work on Java/Angular applications and guidance on DevOps practices.

Qualifications
- At least 4 years of DevOps or platform engineering experience; at least 7 years for senior candidates with proven responsibility for pipelines or platforms.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially Jenkins, and Git-based workflows.
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
- Java and Spring Boot development background.
- Scripting skills, such as Bash or Python.
- Experience working in agile environments using Scrum and/or SAFe.
- Experience in banking or another regulated industry.
- Knowledge of Angular, SQL/PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, or Kotlin is beneficial.
- Experience with DevSecOps tools, such as SonarQube and dependency or container scanning.
- Confident client-facing communication skills, very good German, and good English.
Responsibilities
- Design, optimize, and automate build and deployment pipelines from code through production.
- Contribute to cloud migration and improve operating and platform concepts.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and configuration management to create reproducible environments.
- Manage monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident analysis throughout the application lifecycle.
- Contribute to Java and Angular application development when needed, focusing on performance, maintainability, and operability.
- Integrate security and quality checks into pipelines and account for regulated banking requirements.
- Promote DevOps standards and best practices, advise stakeholders, and support less experienced colleagues.
