Senior DevOps Engineer

Job summary

The Senior DevOps Engineer designs, implements, and sustains automated cloud infrastructure for enterprise applications and services supporting the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency. The role administers cloud-native services in large AWS environments, develops infrastructure as code and configuration management, automates testing and operational tasks, and integrates security controls and vulnerability remediation. Work also includes provisioning, access controls, backup and recovery, and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance
• Eligibility for DCSA Personnel Assurance Program enrollment
• CompTIA Security+ certification meeting DoD 8570 IAT Level II minimum
• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 6 years of relevant cloud platform experience, preferably with AWS or Microsoft Azure
• Strong scripting or programming skills in Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar languages
• Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure in large environments
• Experience developing infrastructure as code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or comparable tools
• Experience automating cloud resource provisioning, deployment, configuration, scaling, and recovery
