Senior DevOps Engineer

Job summary

Oritain is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of their Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, focusing on building, automating, and securing the platform while collaborating with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Five years of hands-on experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Expertise in Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services including App Service and Networking.
• Proficiency in C# and Python, with Bash scripting skills.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design using Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Docker containerisation.
• Understanding of Linux and Windows administration and cloud-native security.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain core architecture on Microsoft Azure for high availability and cost optimisation.
• Lead development and maintenance of infrastructure using Terraform.
• Implement cloud security best practices including network configuration and identity management.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated delivery.
• Establish self-service tools for software engineers to deploy and monitor applications.
• Implement logging, monitoring and alerting strategies using Azure Monitor.
• Collaborate with engineers to define service requirements and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide technical mentorship on cloud architecture and operational best practices.
• Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.
