Senior DevOps Engineer

Job summary

Per*** is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of production and development infrastructure, including deployment pipelines. The role involves ensuring the company has the necessary tooling for platform infrastructure, security, and data safety. This individual contributor position focuses on solving cross-cutting problems and optimizing for the entire company.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Software Engineer or similar role working with large-scale infrastructure systems
• Knowledge of cloud virtualization platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Excellent scripting and automation skills
• Understanding of scripting languages including Python, Ansible, Bash, and Linux
• Understanding of AWS
• Understanding of Docker
• Understanding of CircleCi, Codeship, Fastlane, BitRise, or similar technologies

Responsibilities

• Manage current platform infrastructure
• Manage current code deployment pipelines
• Ensure safety and security of infrastructure and data
• Maintain cloud tools used on production infrastructure
• Support product squads with infrastructure knowledge
• Recommend improvements to current setup
