Senior DevOps Engineer - Platform

Job summary

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will own critical components of CI/CD systems and release infrastructure, collaborating closely with robotics and systems engineers. This role requires hands-on technical expertise to design, implement, and maintain solutions while mentoring team members and ensuring system reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a DevOps, build-and-release, or platform engineer
• Proficiency in at least one systems programming language
• Deep, practical understanding of modern GNU/Linux systems
• Professional experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD tooling
• Strong experience with native-code build systems and tooling
• Working understanding of robotics middleware/runtime concepts
• Familiarity with Yocto concepts
• Python and Shell as daily drivers
• Proven ability to analyze complex infrastructure and code issues independently
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, release infrastructure, and developer tooling end-to-end
• Develop and evolve embedded Linux build workflows
• Collaborate closely with robotics, embedded, and systems engineers
• Drive reliability, observability, reproducibility, and security across build and deployment systems
• Define and enforce best practices for automated testing, artifact management, branching strategies, and deployment workflows
• Step into complex issues across infrastructure, build systems, pipelines, and codebases
• Contribute to and shape the broader engineering platform strategy
• Mentor junior engineers and external stakeholders
