Senior DevOps Engineer – Poland (Remote)

Job summary

The Senior DevOps Engineer builds and operates reliable, secure infrastructure for a SaaS finance data platform. The role covers cloud platform engineering, CI/CD and GitOps workflows, monitoring, incident response, and applying DevSecOps and compliance practices. The technology environment includes Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, Terraform/OpenTofu, GitHub Actions, Kargo, and Grafana.

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE, including at least 2 years with Azure
• Hands-on infrastructure as code experience with Terraform or OpenTofu
• Experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Kargo, Terraform, Kubernetes, and horizontal scaling
• Strong understanding of Azure services and cloud architecture best practices
• Experience managing AKS and containerized environments
• Engineering background with microservices and Kubernetes experience
• Experience monitoring and logging infrastructure and workloads with Azure services and the Grafana stack
• Experience responding to and resolving incidents under pressure

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reliable infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps workflows
• Maintain cloud resource availability, performance, and cost efficiency
• Manage infrastructure, monitoring, and incident response
• Implement alerting and observability best practices
• Resolve incidents and participate in an on-call rotation
• Apply DevSecOps principles and help ensure systems meet compliance standards
• Collaborate with engineering teams on cross-team projects and knowledge sharing
