Senior DevOps Engineer

Job summary

This security engineering role protects globally distributed Sovereign Cloud infrastructure and regulated customer environments by designing and automating secure cloud deployments. It covers foundational infrastructure provisioning, security architecture, and compliance decisions guided by NIST and ISO, using AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD tools, and Git in collaboration with operations teams and hyperscaler providers.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD tools, and Git for security automation
• Experience in operating systems administration and security engineering, including OS image creation and hardening
• Experience securing cloud infrastructure at scale on AWS and Azure
• Familiarity with managing and securing Kubernetes environments
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Willingness to undergo a governmental security clearance process

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security concepts for infrastructure management across a global Sovereign Cloud footprint
• Build and automate security solutions aligned with the Sovereign Cloud security strategy
• Improve automated provisioning of foundational cloud infrastructure and Sovereign Cloud-ready products
• Apply NIST and ISO frameworks to security deployment decisions
• Partner with global operations teams and hyperscaler providers on security architecture
• Maintain knowledge of hyperscaler capabilities and modern infrastructure tooling
