Job summary

The Senior DevOps Engineer role is centered on developing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains, emphasizing automation in operations. Responsibilities include managing cloud environments, supporting the migration of legacy applications, and collaborating with agile teams to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices using AWS, Terraform, and Ansible.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance — mandatory for this role
• Demonstrable experience developing and supporting AWS cloud-based applications (using EC2 and ECS)
• Demonstrable knowledge of writing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code (Terraform and Ansible)
• Demonstrable experience using Unix/Linux/Windows in a support and/or development environment
• Demonstrable experience working in a software or platform engineering agile (Scrum/Kanban) DevOps environment with Continuous Integration & Deployment
• Experience migrating legacy applications to a cloud environment

Responsibilities

• Work across product-focused teams to gather requirements, evaluate tools, and implement or update solutions
• Provision and manage environments across cloud platforms
• Assist with operational issues, ensuring services remain highly available and resilient
• Champion automation-first practices across CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains
• Support the migration of legacy applications into modern cloud environments
• Collaborate within agile (Scrum/Kanban) teams to embed Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment as standard practice
