Job summary
Design, automate, deploy, and improve cloud infrastructure and delivery capabilities for platforms and services in the air travel domain. The role focuses on Microsoft Azure, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Kubernetes, networking, and security, using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, Docker, AKS, PowerShell, Python, and Bash to deliver secure, scalable platform capabilities.

Qualifications
- At least five years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, cloud, platform, or infrastructure engineering role.
- Strong practical experience with Microsoft Azure and Infrastructure as Code; Terraform preferred, with Bicep or ARM experience beneficial.
- Experience designing and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or AKS.
- Knowledge of Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, routing, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, and private connectivity.
- Knowledge of cloud identity and access management, including RBAC, managed identities, secrets, and certificates.
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or equivalent scripting languages.
- Working knowledge of Git, pull requests, source control, and code review.
- Experience troubleshooting Java applications and administering Linux; RHEL or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Ansible and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Azure Landing Zones, enterprise-scale Azure environments, business-critical platforms, disaster recovery, or multi-region architectures is beneficial.
- Experience with monitoring and observability, FinOps, policy as code, automated compliance, messaging, APIs, databases, or distributed platforms is beneficial.
- AWS experience, especially supporting workload migrations to Azure, is beneficial.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum engineering environments is beneficial.
- Familiarity with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, LDAP, and ITIL operational requirements is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Design, provision, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure, primarily in Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code modules, templates, and engineering patterns using Terraform or Bicep.
- Support Azure compute, networking, storage, identity, RBAC, DNS, certificates, secrets, and private connectivity.
- Build, operate, and improve Docker and Kubernetes/AKS platforms.
- Contribute to highly available, resilient, and scalable platform architectures and troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and platform issues.
- Design and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, reusable templates, and standardized deployment patterns.
- Automate environment provisioning, infrastructure configuration, and application deployment through delivery pipelines.
- Develop automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Improve deployment reliability, consistency, efficiency, and developer experience.
- Embed security controls and guardrails in infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement secure identity and access practices for RBAC, managed identities, secrets, and certificates.
