Senior DevOps Engineer - Sovereign Cloud

Job summary

Own cloud service operations across a globally distributed environment, maintaining security, performance, reliability, availability, and scalability for cloud-based platforms. Provision and monitor AWS infrastructure, automate deployment, testing, and observability, lead incident response and root cause analysis, and establish cloud governance standards. The role supports an on-call rotation and scheduled maintenance, and requires obtaining governmental security clearance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating and scaling cloud platforms in production using end-to-end DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, IAM, ACM, KMS, and VPC.
• Experience with infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline design, scripting, and programming.
• Command of Git, Linux, and SUSE.
• Experience leading incident management, root cause analysis, and service improvements in high-availability environments.
• Experience in systems administration, database administration, and landscape maintenance across distributed cloud environments.
• Understanding of networking, virtualization, internet protocols, observability tooling, and security fundamentals for multitenant SaaS applications.
• A degree is not required.
• Must obtain governmental security clearance.
