Job summary
Own and improve the reliability, availability, performance, security, and architecture of business-critical production infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments. Operate Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and infrastructure-as-code foundations; build observability and recovery capabilities; lead incident response; and partner with engineering, security, and business teams to strengthen operational readiness.

Qualifications
- Senior expertise operating business-critical distributed systems; no minimum tenure required
- Deep production experience with Kubernetes or containers, Linux, and networking
- Cloud or hybrid infrastructure experience and Infrastructure as Code expertise
- Incident leadership and systematic troubleshooting across application and infrastructure layers
- Experience with observability, high availability, capacity, backup and recovery, and operational automation
- Ability to script or program in Python, Go, Shell, or an equivalent language
- Sound architecture judgment balancing reliability, security, cost, scalability, and simplicity
- Clear English communication (B2+; C1 preferred), strong ownership, and collaborative influence
- Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms at scale, hybrid or on-premises environments, resilience testing, FinOps, or high-traffic platforms
- Preferred: Experience mentoring engineers or influencing architecture as a senior individual contributor
Responsibilities
- Own production infrastructure reliability, availability, performance, and operability
- Operate and evolve Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and cloud or hybrid foundations
- Design resilient, pragmatic, and cost-aware infrastructure architectures
- Manage infrastructure with reusable, reviewable code and automate operational work
- Build observability across metrics, logs, and traces; help define SLIs, SLOs, and capacity signals
- Lead or support incident response, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Strengthen high availability, backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery readiness
- Partner with engineering, security, and business stakeholders on production readiness and technical risk
- Mentor peers, document decisions, and improve operational standards
