Job summary

Senior DevOps Engineer to support global derivatives trading environments in London, ensuring system stability, compliance, and collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Commodity Trading & Capital Markets/Investment Banking
• Understanding of global futures exchanges and derivatives trade lifecycle
• Track record in application deployment and Front Office application support
• 8+ years with real-time market data distribution platforms
• Knowledge of time-series analytics frameworks like kdb or Shakti
• Technical skills in scripting/programming (Python, PowerShell, C#, SQL)
• 8+ years of FIX engineering experience
• Familiarity with EMS/OMS software like TT, Bloomberg, NYFIX, TradingScreen
• Expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining trading operations under pressure

Responsibilities

• Manage critical end-to-end workflows for system stability and resilience
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and business stakeholders
• Act as subject matter expert for trading systems and regulatory compliance
• Support scalable algorithmic trading technology in a compliant framework
• Address technical debt and deliver robust solutions
• Participate in global on-call rotation for incident response
