Job summary
Capgemini is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, operate, and evolve automated platform components for clients. The role involves shaping creative and maintainable IT architectures, ensuring the reliability of business-critical systems, and simplifying processes through smart, automated solutions. The engineer will also advise on relevant DevOps technologies and processes and share knowledge through workshops.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud, and software development from implementation to productive operation
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, another MINT field, or comparable training
- Technical expert in selected DevOps topics
- Experience in building and operating Sovereign AI platforms
- Strong cloud knowledge, ideally in STACKIT, Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Knowledge of relevant DevOps tools and technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins
- Practical experience in building CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLabs), security, system, and network fundamentals
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, customer orientation, and a confident demeanor
- Teamwork is a driving force
- Willingness to travel for projects
- Excellent German and English language skills
Responsibilities
- Act as a thought leader for clients in building, operating, and developing automated platform components
- Design creative, sustainable, and maintainable IT architectures for complex IT landscapes
- Ensure reliable operation of business-critical systems with the team
- Live the DevOps culture and be responsible for the quality, stability, and security of customer environments
- Simplify daily work processes by creating smart, automated (AI) solutions
- Be close to the customer, identify requirements and opportunities, and implement them with the team
- Advise projects and customers on relevant and current DevOps technologies and processes
- Share knowledge in technical workshops and be inspired by new impulses from communities
