Job summary
Yapeal is seeking a Senior Harness Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform to oversee IT operations and cloud engineering.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English; (Swiss-)German is a plus
- Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform services
- Familiarity with AI/ML workloads
- Proficient in managing Kubernetes deployments
- Skilled in Infrastructure as Code
- Solid in Python, Bash, or TypeScript
- Experience with Prometheus/Grafana for monitoring
Responsibilities
- Lead design and optimization of automated monitoring for GCP servers and networks
- Ensure high availability of production environments through proactive maintenance
- Monitor SLA compliance and manage client communication for operational updates
- Take responsibility for build deployments from DEV to PROD
- Triage and resolve escalated help desk issues
- Lead incident handling and perform root cause analyses
- Support and manage internal physical and cloud-based IT setups
- Develop and document operational IT policies
- Oversee third-party contracts for service alignment
- Maintain structured documentation of processes and incident reports
