Senior DevOps Engineer

Job summary

The Senior DevOps Engineer will oversee the cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices for a BIM Platform, focusing on Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes. Key responsibilities include architecting Azure infrastructure, building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and enhancing observability and security across services to support efficient development workflows.

Qualifications

• In-depth experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Cloud Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Deep experience with Kubernetes, including design and troubleshooting
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or equivalent
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
• Experience with containers and Docker
• Experience with monitoring and observability in production environments
• Knowledge of infrastructure security practices
• Experience building automation using Python, Go, Bash, or TypeScript
• Strong troubleshooting skills in production infrastructure
• Ability to make pragmatic technical decisions

Responsibilities

• Architect, maintain and evolve Microsoft Azure infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters
• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, ARM templates, and Helm
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Build observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and distributed tracing
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance
• Build and maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies
• Strengthen infrastructure security including network policies and secrets management
• Establish and improve incident response processes and runbooks
• Support reliable PostgreSQL and MongoDB environments
• Build self-service tooling and documentation
• Support infrastructure for data pipelines and AI/ML model deployment
• Partner with developers on deployment and troubleshooting
