Senior DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer

Job summary

This senior DevOps and infrastructure role builds and strengthens a reliable, secure cloud platform for asset integrity management software used in asset-heavy industries, including Oil & Gas, Chemicals, and Energy. Responsibilities include designing Azure infrastructure, developing Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices, enabling Kubernetes-based deployments, and improving observability, security, and disaster recovery. The role also applies AI-assisted tools such as Copilot, Cursor, and Codex to automate infrastructure and operational workflows and improve engineering productivity.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or a similar role.
• Experience in a SaaS or product-based environment.
• Hands-on experience with Azure or similar cloud services and cloud-native infrastructure design.
• Strong practical knowledge of CI/CD, deployment automation, release pipelines, and environment management.
• Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Understanding of containers, Kubernetes, AKS, Ansible, Packer, networking, security, monitoring, and reliability practices.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted coding or automation tools, or strong interest in applying them to DevOps workflows.
• Enablement mindset, with a focus on reusable solutions, standards, documentation, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Create reusable Infrastructure as Code patterns and manage environments consistently.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application, infrastructure, and platform deployments.
• Provide engineering teams with self-service infrastructure, templates, scripts, documentation, and platform standards.
• Drive containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes and Talos.
• Incorporate security, compliance, monitoring, and disaster recovery into infrastructure and deployment workflows.
• Use AI-assisted tools to automate DevOps tasks, infrastructure generation, deployments, and operational runbooks.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability; analyze incidents and operational patterns to recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with software engineering, security, product, and architecture teams to improve delivery and infrastructure practices.
