Senior DevOps / MLOps Engineer

Job summary

Manage the Azure platform for AI-native delivery, focusing on infrastructure, Kubernetes, and cost discipline within a FedRAMP-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering in SaaS environments
• Deep Azure experience: AKS, networking, identity, and monitoring
• Proficient in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, or similar) and strong scripting skills
• MLOps experience: deploying and operating ML systems in production
• Demonstrated ability to manage cloud costs
• Experience in compliance-heavy environments (FedRAMP, StateRAMP, SOC 2, or similar)
• Comfortable with production access responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate Azure platform: AKS, networking, identity, storage, and environments from development through production
• Own infrastructure as code end to end
• Operate AI infrastructure layer: observability and evaluation tooling, product telemetry, model gateway, and compliant inference paths
• Manage cloud and AI cost: metering, budgets, and active remediation
• Harden production access and controls: least privilege and secrets management
• Collaborate with AI Operations on deploy-and-release path
• Build platform reliability: monitoring, alerting, incident response, and capacity planning
• Provide microservices with necessary platform primitives
