Job summary
Seeking a Senior DevOps Platform Architect to lead migration of deployment automation from IBM UrbanCode Deploy to Octopus Deploy, design CI/CD pipelines, and ensure compliance with security standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of developer experience with DevOps principles and CI/CD best practices
- Experience migrating deployment automation from legacy platforms to modern orchestration platforms
- Proficiency in Groovy scripting
- Strong development experience in C#
- Experience designing and deploying production-ready release automation solutions
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code and release management best practices
- Knowledge of configuration as code and RBAC in Mainframe environments
- Experience with various DevOps tools and platforms
- Proficient with IBM Developer for z/OS
- Experience with Mainframe utilities and platforms
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of Helios CI/CD pipeline features
- Migrate CI/CD deployment pipelines from IBM UrbanCode Deploy to Octopus Deploy
- Review and refactor existing UCD deployment scripts
- Develop and optimize deployment automation in Octopus Deploy using C#
- Validate migrated pipelines through testing
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams
- Troubleshoot deployment and automation issues
- Contribute to CI/CD platform governance and operational excellence
