(Senior) DevOps / Platform Engineer (m/w/d)

Job summary

The role involves enhancing the CI/CD landscape and maintaining a robust cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt. Key responsibilities include developing Azure Landing Zones, implementing DevSecOps principles, and automating processes to improve development team efficiency while ensuring platform stability and security through tools like Datadog.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in DevOps, Platform, or Cloud Engineering
• Strong Azure knowledge
• Proficient in Terraform and orchestration layers like Terragrunt
• Familiar with modern CI/CD and container environments
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI
• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes or AKS
• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python
• Experience with Datadog, DevSecOps tooling, and hybrid deployments
• Fluent in German for team communication and English for technical documentation

Responsibilities

• Enhance CI/CD landscape
• Develop and maintain pipelines and reusable workflow templates in GitHub Actions
• Establish stable cloud infrastructure
• Develop Azure Landing Zones
• Ensure transparency, security, and stability in platform operations
• Build alerts, dashboards, SLOs, and SLIs in Datadog
• Automate recurring tasks
• Develop scalable self-service solutions
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support during business hours
• Drive cloud cost optimization and compliance baseline development
